rail & taxis We'd highly suggest this route as the farm is only 9 miles from Pulborough train station, and you can get trains from Victoria twice each hour. Be careful to sit in the correct part of the train.
There is a local taxi company called Silverline (01798 874321) based at the station that would be worthwhile booking with a number of others (they have a small minibus) or when you call up mention our wedding so others can share with you. carThere is ample parking at the farm (you will be directed upon arrival, it depends on which field the cows are in!) and the reception but if you can, for the environment, bring a friend or two. The postcode for the farm is GU28 9JL, directions to the park will be given at the ceremony.
sharing (minibus/coach)Alternatively, find some friends and rent a minibus/coach (these come with drivers, so you can indulge!). We are mostly thinking of all you from City Gates.
helicopterOk, perhaps this isn't the best option, but text Nick for the longitude and latitude if interested. We'd advise against landing in Petworth Park despite the fantastic runway, but you could always ask!
cycle, walk & swimFor all the health freaks out there ... there is a 21 mile crossing at Dover-Calais that could be an interesting swim, though the Thames is also pleasant, and the country lanes are relatively flat for cyclists.
