
Building websites since 1998 and creating a design agency as brothers in 2005, which I ran for 14 years means I’m an Internet dinosaur – been there, done that.
I like helping people who are passionate about what they do and have particularly experience with charities, churches and small business. All help is designed to be within your capacity, time and budget (however small).
Consultancy
When starting out or undergoing change often an external eye can both save you time and bring experience to bear from having helped hundreds of organisations through similar processes. From communication and marketing to business/charity strategy, you’ll have plain English next steps.
Training
From one-on-one, teams through to rooms of 80 people (delivering on behalf of Business Link), you can get training on topics like:
- Online Marketing (A comprehensive end-to-end of the entire online picture, including strategy)
- Understanding Social Media (How to use Social Media for a charity/business successfully)
- Search Engine Optimisation Overview (SEO overview, Google Search Console)
- Search Engine Optimisation eCommerce (More in depth, merchant centre, Google Ads, etc)
Workshops
Often soon after training, but more hands-on with groups of 5-6 from one company or up to 20 separate people (would include another team member), topics can include:
- Email Newsletter (using MailChimp, creating an appropriate template, uploading contacts, testing, etc)
- Social Media Setup (setting up Facebook Page, Instagram Business, Twitter, Google+ Place/Page)
- WordPress Usage (thorough understanding of pages/posts and main anatomy, including writing for web)
Pricing
All jobs would be directly agreed with a formal estimate, but to give you an idea of cost:
- Hourly rate, eg. website updates: £50 (no VAT)
- Half Day (9am to 1pm): £300 (no VAT)
- Day Rate (9am to 5pm): £500 (no VAT)
Half and full days are include travel within 1 hour of London. Workshops over 6 would need an extra person would be £500 for a Half Day and £800 for a full day.
