Lights glowing, illuminating quiet
Daily racket no longer a riot
Two gentle purrs today process
Today’s quarry in deep recess
Giggles from the hearth of youth
Questions many, curious smiling tooth
Concerns and wants but ne’er a care
Expectant answers not troubling fare
Sharing in the new joy afresh
A world of wonder not distress
And then the final soft request
Please charge my iPad as I rest
