Well hello, I’m no longer so sure what to put on this page given the communication and social media options that have been created since we made this website way back in 1998.
Starting at the top, faith and family are the two most important things to me. I’ve been blessed with a wonderful wife and three children, and love the way being a parent makes you grow and see things differently. Likewise all of this I ascribe to my heavenly father, and you can read more about why in my testimony.
My time is mostly split between our kids, working for a charity and drinking coffee. I used to run a company with my brothers, a non-profit that offered graphic design, marketing and website design. I do that under another hat now and still enjoy the honour of supporting someone’s passion – it also meets my needs for mathematical precision and art.
At the opposite end of the scale, messing around with all things made of wood is one of the ways I like to relax. From my pallet-shed build (2 years and counting) to small things around the house or for friends. Someday I hope to have a workshop like Chris but that’s the dream … well actually it’s called Urban Shed but that’s not yet started.
My other hobby is live sound engineering – usually in a church space. While I can’t play a musical instrument, mixing the creativity of others is parallel to working on design with creative types.
