Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Finding Peace

Jul 2009 Leave a Comment

I often – like most people- find it hard to just go ‘everything is and will be ok, just keep going and trusting’. I guess it might sound niave, but in a sense it’s the core of the Christian faith.

I mean, you have to keep trusting and sometimes end up doing seemingly ‘crazy’ and ‘odd’ things because you think it’s where God wants you, even if you’re not 100% sure.

I remember bolding asserting only a couple nights ago that -when we needed it- the money would come through for paying freelancers at the company I work for … it did, but I just had to trust. And on much smaller things too, like getting up in the morning, just plugging away at normal work task by task and knowing that He is in control.

I guess much like Rich G’s post about listening to God (link now broken), you just need to keep listening and taking little steps one at a time.

Now, what should I do with the rest of my day God? I’m looking forward to it whatever 🙂
